Warrior Games

United States

First held in 2010, Warrior Games celebrates the resiliency and dedication of wounded, ill and injured active duty and veteran U.S. military service members. The Warrior Games serves to enhance the recovery and rehabilitation of wounded warriors by providing them exposure to adaptive sports. Adaptive sports competition for the 2023 Warrior Games Challenge includes a variety of team and individual sports, from archery to wheelchair rugby, providing an unforgettable experience to athletes and allowing them to compete at a global scale with global reach.

Populous’ event team, responsible for iconic global events such as the Super Bowl, the Olympics and MLB at Field of Dreams, leads the planning and event design for the Warrior Games, providing selection and management of venues, competition, athlete areas and more. Populous also provides accreditation services for the event, as well as wayfinding and signage, in-venue digital presentation and volunteer coordination.

Populous supported the 2022 Warrior Games and is currently engaged to support the annual event through 2027. No federal endorsement of Populous is implied.
