Hillsboro Ballpark

Designed as a year-round outdoor venue, the ballpark balances the technical requirements for player development with an enhanced fan experience. The seating bowl has been reoriented to keep the sun at the fans’ backs, creating a fully shaded environment, while a 32-foot canopy provides protection from both rain and sun. A 360-degree wraparound concourse connects a range of amenities, including a beer garden, food hall and flexible social spaces, allowing the venue to operate seamlessly during any event. Rooted in the culture of the Pacific Northwest—and a region synonymous with craft brewing—the ballpark embraces its identity as both a place to watch the game and gather over a pint, a natural fit for the Hops. 

 At the field level, the ballpark introduces a first-of-its-kind sustainable synthetic playing surface for Minor League Baseball in the United States. The Pivot® performance turf by TenCate eliminates PFAS, addressing growing health and environmental concerns associated with traditional turf systems. Engineered to reduce microplastic release, lower emissions and significantly cut water use, the surface also delivers a consistent, high-performance playing experience. With grass-like grip and stability, it has been tested and approved by athletes, providing durability and safety across a full season of play and beyond.

Club seats and boxes cater to premium and corporate buyers, while branded gathering spaces and bars offer places to connect.
