Dale Jennins
Dale began his career at Populous working on the design and construction of the Alfred McAlpine Stadium, Huddersfield. The building went on to win the prestigious 1995 RIBA Building of the Year Award.
He has since worked on projects including Stadium Australia, Wembley Stadium, Reebok Stadium in Bolton, Wimbledon Centre Court, and more recently, Stade Hassan II Stadium in Casablanca, AS Roma Stadium, and Wrexham AFC’s new Kop stand.
With more than 30-years experience, Dale is an expert in stadium architecture and bowl design, leading the internal Populous bowl and technical review team which audits all designs for stadiums and arenas.
Dale was part of the design lead team for Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, designing the spectator bowl and operational/concept stadium plans, and vitally contributing to what has been dubbed the best stadium atmosphere in the world. As well as designing the stadium’s architectural steelwork such as the South Stand ‘trees’, he put together initial designs for the retractable pitch and worked closely with the client regarding media and security provision throughout the stadium.
