Blurring Boundaries: SXSW 2018 Recap
SXSW is never short on future thinking, and at Populous we’re always looking for the next big thing if we’re not working on it ourselves. SXSW 2018 was no exception to the rule, and this year we teamed up with adidas to explore the future of the connected athletic experience.
Last week, Brian Mirakian took the stage along Leon Imas, Global Identity Director at adidas, to explore how emerging technologies and the dynamic sports environment are changing the way athletes, brands and consumers interact with one another. Through insights gained over decades of live event design and new production methods like adidas Futurecraft, Brian and Leon shed light on the development of next-generation industry-leading products, identity design and built venues to explore the future of sport.
